Abundance right before my eyes
I love perfumes. Sometimes I wonder why I have to prefer the more expensive ones – Angel, Pleasures, Dolce & Gabana Light Blue... Could it be because “more” multiplied by “expensive” equals good quality? Maybe.
A few years ago I received Angel by Thierry Mugler as a gift, and I loved it. By the time it got finished, I was working in a department store in Birmingham where I qualified for a 30% discount on staff purchases. That was very beneficial while it lasted.
My sister-in-law’s mum was returning to Cmr two years ago from Canada and asked what she should get for me. D&G Light Blue was the answer! And so it was.
Last year, just when my fragrances were almost getting finished, a friend in Holland sent me all three above. Abundance at work don’t you agree?
My younger sister was here in April from Canada, she had the opportunity to get me fragrances at great discounts, so I got me some great ones.
Then just yesterday, while chatting with a friend visiting the US, he asked what gift he should get for me upon his return. He specified that he wants me to choose, because he wants to give a gift that will be appreciated, not one that will be accepted. Initially I was scared they were expensive but he said “just name the brand”. And I did. There is enough of that which we think we need to be happy. Turns out expensive is not a hindrance at all. I like what I liked, I appreciated it and it came forth to me, always and all ways. Sometimes effortlessly, other times with a little push.
There are no coincidences. Only life unfolding itself in the process of life itself. Since my first encounter with Angel I always have two or three of my favorite fragrances on my make-up desk. Thank you God for making me see this abundance, as i go around looking good and smelling great!
Enthusiastic, organised, self-expressive
