Minor Invasion of privacy
I went to an Express Union money transfer agency recently. Either I went there to receive or send money, one of the two. Here goes my story. In Express Union, work starts @7.30 am. I arrive at the first agency, its not yet open, I drive on to the next. The computers are not on yet, so I fill the forms, and I sit and wait to be called up.
One of the cleaners (a lady) bends in front of me, so close I got really uncomfortable, her hand approaches the area between my knees and I am WONDERING what she is up to (my knees were apart). She reaches out and pulls a bucket underneath my chair. I breathe a sigh of relief as she walks away, not even realising the effect of what she had just done. She may have assumed that her intention was commonsensical but I felt invaded. As an afterthought, she should have had the courtesy to ask me to stand so she may collect the utensils to enable her do her early morning job (dry-cleaning).
Enthusiastic, organised, self-expressive
